2011 Vinoce Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, Mt. Veeder
This vintage was another exceptional year for our Vinoce Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve. The 2011 Cabernet Reserve shows incredible length and persistence on the palate.
Vineyard Brian Nuss, Winemaker's Tasting Notes: Black fruit excite the front palate, currant, plum and blackberry. Subtle spice notes of cedar and sandalwood carry the mid-palate thru coffee and mocha to the red fruit on the finish. The 2011 Cabernet Reserve shows incredible length and persistence.

Our 2011 Cabernet Reserve is crafted from carefully selected blocks of grapes to yield intense, deeply colored wine with concentrated aromas and flavor.
Harvest Data: Grapes harvested in mid to late October
Fermentation: Careful tannin management is an important factor to our producing powerful, yet elegant mountain wines. Our fermentation is completed in the barrel, which accelerates early integration of fruit and oak.
Barrel Aging: 18 months on 60% new French Oak. Toast levels vary in barrel selection. Blend: 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Merlot Alcohol: 14.8%
