The 2007 Transcend is a tribute to the amazing flavors and textures that have made the Eastern Oakville Hillside famous. A rich nose of cassis and blackberries are complemented by hints of deep mocha and vanilla with nuances of licorice and smoked spices. Texturally the wine is plush and seductive with firm, yet polished tannins. For such a massive and concentrated wine it is very refined and sophisticated. 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc.
