Viscosity. Depth. Complexity. Character. While terrior and fruit quality certainly play a large role in the uniqueness of our Los Carneros Chardonnay additional credit can be attributed to our extended barrel aging program. In contrast to our Russian River & Sonoma Mountain versions the 2006 Los Carneros Chardonnay generously received an additional 4-5 months of time in barrel. The resulting mouthfeel is seductive & silky with lots of citrus, honey, vanilla cream and toasty oak. Blessed by the fog and cool, gentle breezes that waft in from the San Pablo Bay it also benefits from a natural acidity that contributes to a well balanced, clean & refreshing finish.
