The Mi Sueño 2006 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is destined to be a crowd pleaser! It’s easy to see why when you consider its depth of color, exotic aromas & intricate layers that envelope the palate. In only its third year in production, the Mi Sueño team is just starting to learn the full potential of the Ulises Vineyard. Nevertheless, “word” continues to spread quickly, and while demand insures a level of scarcity, it will be well worth the effort if you’re fortunate enough to get your hands on a few bottles!
Tasting notes from owner & winemaker Rolando Herrera: "Provocative! Sensuous! Sexy! The depth of color is truly mesmerizing. Deep ruby red with garnet rings the color extraction is a prelude to its viscous nature. True to its varietal, it offers a dazzling & complex bouquet of ripe red fruits, pomegranates, cranberry, freshly-cut figs accented with a pinch of all-spice and pure Mother Earth. Rich, intricate, and full-bodied, this wine strikes an intriguing balance between fruit, tannins, acidity and toasty oak. A hint of minerality contributes to a long, satisfying finish."
