The 2004 Mi Sueño "El Llano" (80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Syrah) is a spectacular array of vibrant colors, intoxicating aromas and concentrated flavors united in a provocative confluence that culminates in waves of sheer pleasure and enjoyment. How is this possible? Well, it goes to the heart of Mi Sueño’s commitment and passion to making truly unique, limited-production wines. Mi Sueño has slowly converted its grape-growing relationships into a series of long-term vineyard leases where it manage the farming year-round. This heightened level of control allows us to maximize the potential of each vineyard that we work with.
Tasting notes from winemaker Rolando Herrera: “Deep, fat, dark and intense the color hints to the richness and viscosity to follow. An exhilarating fusion of succulent dark fruits, vanilla, exotic spices, graphite, freshly-turned earth and smoke literally burst forth from the glass. The palate is equally-satisfied by concentrated layers of black fruit, creamy white chocolate, cabernet dust and toasty oak that are accented via refined tannins and lively acidity."
