The fruit for this Pinot Noir was sourced from two small Sonoma Coast vineyards that have been sourced by some of Sonoma’s most renowned producers. The vineyards are both very close to the coast, which is rare for most Sonoma Coast producers of recent, and usually affected by fog. Both vineyards produce low and varying yields, due to often harsh growing conditions along the Sonoma coast.
Tasting Notes from Proprietor Garret Murphy: “Aromas reminiscent of red currants, cranberries, nutmeg and cloves are well-integrated with hints of vanilla and toast. The wine is ripe in the mouth, as well as intensely concentrated. Flavors of black cherries, cranberry and herbs are wrapped around the subtly-oaked-yet-long and intense finish.”
