The 2006 Mi Sueño "El Llano" (70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Syrah) continues the trend of Mi Sueño delivering a consistently-delicious wine year after year knowing that the elements that Rolando will working with will likely change? With the exception of the 2003 and 2004 vintages, the percentages of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah have fluctuated in the “El Llano” and the final blend reflects the uniqueness of each harvest as well as an intensive barrel selection process. The popularity of this wine continues to grow with each subsequent vintage. In a word, it all comes down to….CONSISTENCY!

Tasting notes from Proprietor & Winemaker Rolando Herrera: "[The 2006 'El Llano' is] a wine with explosive aromas of exotic spice, ripe black fruits, cracked white pepper, roasted espresso and hint of graphite. Its bouquet mirrors its appearance which is deep, dark and brooding. Unfailing, the mouthfeel is rich, supple and velvety with an array of black fruits, dark chocolate, spice and toasted oak."
