One of the most approachable & popular blends here at Vintner's Collective! The Buoncristiani “O.P.C.” is a Napa Valley proprietary red blend. In the quest to create a unique wine, the Buoncristiani brothers marry Cabernet Sauvignon with Syrah, while also folding in further complexity of texture and flavor with Malbec and Merlot. Grapes are sourced from some of Napa’s most prestigious vineyards including Hyde, Stagecoach, Caldwell, and Bennett. Just like their winemaking fathers before them, with “Ol’ Pa’s Cuvée” the four brothers continue their family tradition of handcrafting blends that help accentuate the enjoyment of life.

Tasting notes from Winemaker Jay Buoncristiani: “Deep aromas of vibrant wild berries, black cherry, violets, molasses and exotic spices excite the senses. Intense flavors of ripe blackberry, boysenberry, caramel, and mocha are supported by integrated French oak, balanced acidity, round tannin and a mouth-coating mid palate. Mixed blue and black fruit, cedar spice, and baker’s chocolate continue to gush forth during the ultra fleshy velvet-textured long finish.”
