Garnet red in color with a multi-dimensional nose. Aromas of this wine range from spring, ripe cranberry-like fruit to a smokey,toasty character coming mostly older barrels. In the mouth, it is soft,rich, and round, yet has the juicy lively palate of Sangiovese. I really like the raspberry cocoalike flavors that the nose leads one into.
